Our Commitment to Your Personal Data (GDPR)
At Madame’s Home, we attach fundamental importance to the protection of your privacy and the security of your personal data. As an e-commerce store, we need to collect certain information to prepare your eyelash extension orders and deliver them to you, but we do so in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our commitments are based on three core principles:
- Data Minimization: We only ask for the data strictly necessary to provide our services (for billing, delivery, and order tracking).
- Security: Your payments are secured by global experts (Stripe, PayPal) and your credit card numbers are never stored on our servers.
- Control: You remain in control of your data at all times and we never sell your information to third parties.
For technical details about our data processing, our subcontractors, and legal retention periods, we invite you to read our comprehensive Read our Privacy Policy
Understanding Your Data Rights
In accordance with European regulations and the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”), you have strict rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access and portability: You have the right to know exactly what data we hold about you. If you have a customer account on our store, you can ask us for a full export of your data.
- Right to rectification: If your information is inaccurate (for example, a change in delivery address or email address), you have the right to request an update. (Note: you can also easily do this yourself directly from your “My Account” area).
- Right to erasure (“Right to be forgotten”): You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data attached to it. (Please note: for legal accounting and tax reasons, French legislation requires us to keep your order invoices for 10 years).
- Right to object and restrict processing: You can object to certain processing operations or request a temporary freeze on the use of your data.
How to Exercise Your Rights
For any request concerning the exercise of your rights (deletion request, data export, etc.), the procedure is simple and completely free of charge.
